Planning Permission Granted at Catch Yard Farm, Silverstone

Barwood Land are pleased to announce that outline planning permission has been granted for our Catch Yard Farm scheme in Silverstone, South Northamptonshire. Permission was granted by the Communities secretary Eric Pickles on 24th July 2013, following an earlier appeal inquiry in February.

Catch Yard Farm will create a distinctive, integrated and sustainable addition to Silverstone that will provide high quality residential development that reflects the historic character and landscape setting of the village.

It will comprise 220 new homes (including affordable homes); the creation of public squares, play areas, greens and spaces, together with improved public access to the area and associated ecological enhancements; allotments and community orchards; areas for floodwater retention and water attenuation; improved public transport, pedestrian and cycle routes connecting to the village centre and employment opportunities at Silverstone Circuit; landscaped noise bunding and woodland planting.

Barwood Land look forward to working with South Northamptonshire Council, Silverstone Parish Council and local residents going forward.
